Welcome Pilots!

We on the Big Bend Balloon Bash Committee wish to extend to you an invitation to join us for the 2010 Big Bend Balloon Bash!

You are cordially invited to participate in the 14th Annual Big Bend Balloon Bash to be held September 4, 5 and 6, 2010, in Alpine, Texas. If you are a prior participant, you may have your entry fee rolled over from 2009.  Email us if you are not sure.

This year’s event is limited to twenty-five (25) balloons on a first-received entry basis. Deadline for entry is June 21, 2010. Each pilot will receive one (1) hotel room for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, plus propane (show up full and leave full), show-up money (if you fly all 3 days, weather permitting).

Please print out, complete and mail the pilot entry paperwork, a photocopy of your license, and a statement from your insurance carrier as soon as possible. You may also complete the forms online. Submit a photo of the balloon, if you have changed balloons this year. You can email your balloon photo, if you wish.

NOTE: Pets are welcome at all Big Bend Balloon Bash events! After all, we are in Alpine, and you never know when someone on horseback may come by to say Hello! If you are bringing your pet, please let us know on the Pilot Entry Form so we can arrange for pet-friendly accommodations for you and your furry family member. All pets MUST be leashed at the Launch Field. And remember - Please POOP responsibly!
